​Johnny Majestic is a Los Angeles–based theatrical rock artist blending glam spectacle, heavy guitars, and modern pop precision into a sound that feels both nostalgic and futuristic. Drawing from the flamboyance of ‘80s glam and the sharp edge of contemporary pop production, his music fuses soaring hooks, lush harmonies, and genre-bending arrangements into a bold, high-impact identity.

 

Originally from Prague, Johnny moved to the United States to study art before leaving school during the early days of the pandemic—a turning point that sent him into a period of instability, reflection, and rapid creative growth. Moving between cities and continents, he found himself disconnected from both structure and direction, ultimately retreating into isolation and writing. What began as uncertainty quickly turned into a defining creative phase, as he started building the foundation for his solo project.

 

During this time, Johnny became deeply focused on refining his sound—shifting away from the raw, DIY rock approach of his previous band toward something more expansive and intentional. Immersing himself in pop production, arrangement, and sonic identity, he began mapping out exactly what his music should and shouldn’t be—pulling from both mainstream sensibilities and experimental influences. This period of intense creative focus led to his first major collaborations, including work with Production Lovers, where he began developing his debut material, including the single In The Clouds.

 

Alongside his evolution as an artist, Johnny expanded into the studio world, collaborating with composer Mark Mothersbaugh and working across engineering, guitar, and composition for visual media. This experience further shaped his approach, blending cinematic storytelling with high-impact songwriting and performance.

 

Following the release of his debut album The Most Wonderful World of Johnny Majestic in January 2025, Johnny has continued building momentum through visually driven releases and dynamic live performances. His shows emphasize character, energy, and immersion—bringing the same cinematic quality of his recordings into a live setting designed to leave a lasting impression.
